try...

CREATE TABLE `track` (
`track_id` INT AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY NOT NULL ,
`track_title` VARCHAR(100) NOT NULL,
`track_writer` VARCHAR(80),
`track_length` DOUBLE(4)
)

.... mysql could be erroring on the not null before auto_increment in your statement... everything else looks right.

Problem is in track_length

Hi!

I think I found your problem. It's in track_length.

This is your code:

CREATE TABLE `track` (
`track_id` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY,
`track_title` VARCHAR(100) NOT NULL,
`track_writer` VARCHAR(80),
`track_length` DOUBLE(4)
)

This is the code I tried without problems:
CREATE TABLE `track` (
`track_id` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY,
`track_title` VARCHAR(100) NOT NULL,
`track_writer` VARCHAR(80),
`track_length` DOUBLE(4,0)
)

Regards,
rongear :)
