Change image after every 1 minute

Hi all

I am designing a game based website that shows a pic to viewer for 1 minute and then removes it. Then asks the questions based on image. I want a digital clock showing 1 minute countdown on page as well.

I am new to web development, pls guide me, dont give me code snippets if you dont like but point to some good articles
