Call Taxonomy Images

I'm fairly new to this but trying to customize something on my Wordpress. I have installed Simple Taxonomy and Taxonomy images. I'm looking to have it call the taxonomy images just for "colours" near the bottom of the post. I've tried several different codes from the developer's page but nothing is working.

I have played with all of the different snippets of code that each plug-in recommends but I haven’t been able to get anything to show up. Not sure if I’m putting it in the right place but I need to work around from editing the single page PHP directly because my theme overwrites it.

So I got my custom taxonomies to display where desired, just trying to pull the coloured circle images in rather than the text links. Thoughts?
