Current Projects (what are you up to?)
Moderators: egami, macek, gesf
Actually got really bored and started developing functions for a PHP interface for google, so you can display google-searches contents in a format you like... lol needs some serious string parsing, wish i knew perl...
Oh, i was sure that that has been done, but noone suggested any good projects here and as i said i was bored, also wanted to play around with string functions and parsing; never had the time to actually play with strings before...
I could do something productive, but there is nothing productive that i know of for me to do, if you could point me in the right direction swirlee, or anyone else, i will greatly appreciate it. I just need something to present a challenge, something that hasnt been done before...
It feels like an amature having a top of the line box, sure he has the equipment, but he doesnt know how to utilize it to its full potential, i hope you know what i mean.

BTW, WSDL support should make my task a whole lot easyer, but their developers toolkit only has Perl, Java and VS.net, no PHP...

I just finished an application that a company uses to manage its orders, customers, etc. Was an interesting project and im happy that I'm finally done with it (allthough he will probably make me do upgrades soon).
As a favor, I also made a clan website for my friends CSS clan, which required more design than coding.
Soon, I hope to start working on a webshop
This will be for the same employer that I did the management app for.

Right now, I\'m working on a compiler for a programming language that I\'m making, programmed purely in python with wxpython. I\'m still working on the find & replace functions for it, specifically the find whole word function. And i\'ve got a bit of a ways to go before I can put out a 1.0 release of the compiler.
trying to get to grips with DBUS on Kubuntu. stopped working after some conflict with the Water Effect plugin from Compiz. stupid DBus
but I'll get it done ;) not PHP, but honestly, Linux can be a challenge
seems like nobody wants to share what they're up to anymore..
