Re: failed to open stream: Permission denied

I just created a test file that works ! Any got a clue here??? It appears that this happens when you try to run 'action' program on the <form>. <?php error_reporting (E_ALL ^ E_NOTICE); include("../myPhpFunctions.inc"); $inputFile= fopen("optumRxInputFile.sql", "a+") or die("Unable to open file!"); ...

Re: php json_encode() produces parse errors

WELL ......... MY STUPID MISTAKE !!!! I got to really studying what was returned and I discovered that the debugging strings that i had echoed to the screen were actually being passed on along with the json_encode string. That is the data passed back to the $Ajax call actually was 'garbage . json_en...

Re: php json_encode() produces parse errors

There is basically no difference. What is returned is this: [{"Id":1,"Date":"04\/03\/2019","Location":"1540 Woodlawn","Vendor":"Lowes","Description":"Kitchen Sink And Faucet","Category":"appliances","PaidBy":"Lowes","AcctNo":"9800","Amount":438.5},{"Id":2,"Date":"04\/21\/2019","Location":"1540 Woodl...

This is the error I get.

If I use "text" for the 'dataType' in the $Ajax call the response is ok. I guess the parserror is for a mis-formed json. I checked with gettype(json_encode($rows) and the type is 'string'. I was under the assumption that the return would be a json array.

Re: sqlite query not working with php - works in console

Thanks hyper, As you probably guessed I am very new to Sqlite. Mostly I have worked with MySql but I am trying to get into the less complicated dbase. Anyway, The sites I have looked at have not shown PDO access. More like: <?php $dbase='linuxQuest.db'; $db = new SQLite3($dbase); //$db = new SQLite3...

Thanks for the reply.

Just had a thought,: Found out that phpmyadmin uses cookies. I am going to try and get rid of the cookies and see what happens.

Re: cannot purge phpmyadmin and reinstall without errors

define phpmyadmin=P Well I tried the purge and auto removal of P4.6.6 and updated with P4.9.0.1 per instructions here: tecadmin.net/manually-upgrade-phpmyadmin-ubuntu/ I also loaded the P database into mysql since it wasn't in the databases. When I run P4.9.0.1 now, see attachments; Errors and Info'...

Re: cannot purge phpmyadmin and reinstall without errors

Thanks for your reply,

I have done this, but upon re-installing get all the errors. There seems to be some configuration files that are still messing things up. What I'm truing to get is an installation like the original one.

cannot purge phpmyadmin and reinstall without errors

I run ubuntu 18.04 When installing LAMP I didn't set the root PW for mariaDB. I corrected this so I can now run mysql -u root -p and enter the root PW. On installing Version information: 4.6.6deb5 I got a bunch of errors which I found out could only be corrected by updating phpmyadmin. Long story sh...
