Hello All,

I have an HTML site. Now what i want to do is that i want to track the visitor coming to my site?

Can anyone suggest me how can i do by using pure HTML. I can do this by using PHP. but i want to do this by using HTML.

I know, there must be function and system variable for it. But i am unable to find it.

Thanks.

Unfortunately... You don't know....!!!!
You can't do anything.... that you said ...

HTML is just for the sake of renderning text. on the browser ...
Thats it...
Nothing more to HTML...

You can do only one thing....
Set a cookie using Javascript.... and then try to do whatever you want to do...!! 8O

Ruturajv is right -- you can't do anything involving logic with HTML.

If you're just looking for turn-key visitor tracking that you can add to your HTML site, there are a number of third-party systems that just require you to add an image to your site, such as Nedstat. You can often pay a monthly fee so that you don't have to show an image (or rather, use hidden image).

The only problem with all those trackers are that they take a number of hits and not unique hosts..

I would suggest trying to do something with PHP... but in case you are not able to do so -- just dont use those trackers..

Trackers are not really needed... as far as i consider it -- you should install a statistics system on your website and dont show it to anyone but keep to yourself...
