How to Get Your Question Answered

Postby swirlee » Sat Aug 16, 2003 5:47 pm

Attention help-seekers! There are many ways to ask a question, but only a few will get your question answered in a courteous and timely manner.

Want to get your question answered? Then read this very short guide by Eric S. Raymond:

How to Ask Questions the Smart Way

I'm not kidding. Read it. I guarantee that following ESR's advice will get your question answered faster, more accurately, and free of derision and sarcasm. Thanks.
