A question - probaby a stupid question.

Does PHP run only on UNIX servers?

And another slightly more advanced question:

I was doing some simple PHP work for a client which involved the need to delete certain files... however, the PHP running on my client's server would not allow for deleting files... I've had similar PHP running on several other servers where that probelm did not exist. After contacting the company operating the server with the problem, I was told the problem existed, and I quote - "due to the virtualization of Apache under the Ensim enviroment." So, the question is... is that an unusual PHP setup or am I likely to run into the problem frequently as I do PHP work for other clients located all over the place?

Thanks...

nope PHP will work on Windows. Visit http://www.php.net for downloads for the various Windows web servers.
