Access Privilages

Postby webtekie » Fri Apr 11, 2003 6:09 am

Hi,

Right now I have phpMyAdmin set up so that when I login I have 'super user' privilages. How do I set up phpMyAdmin to create a user that can only insert and view data? I read a bit in documentation.html but can't understant where to put grant sql statements.

thanks,
webtekie

Ok, can you give more information. mysql.user -- what is this? Also, do I need to create a log-in page for a user to login?

thanks,

it's ok, I have my own login page. I meant for phpMyAdmin. But looking at it, I in fact don't have access to mysql.user because I am don't have ALL privilages. So can't do it.

Return to “phpMyAdmin”
