"Application" variable

Postby Papapishu » Sat Mar 29, 2003 12:47 pm

What can I use as a global variable that every user can access?
I've lookes at $_SESSION, $_ENV and $_REQUEST but haven't got it working.
I'm trying to do a rudimental chat app where the stuff one writes is put into a super-super-global array, which is also continiously searched and outputted in another frame using echo and flush.

I know asp has such a function...

How comes?
Is it a security risk?
