Automatic Page Creation

Postby ebbinjose » Fri Oct 26, 2012 9:05 pm

Hi all,
I am somewhat new to the field of PHP and I am trying to make an article site. Is there any way that I can use PHP forms to get articles from users and create simple HTML webpages from the articles posted by the users automatically. I think there are already sites with such features, like http://triond.com and http://expertscolumn.com/, but I have no idea the technology they are using. Please suggest me in this area. Thank you ~ Ebbin Jose

You are probably looking for a blogging platform / content management system:

Try: http://wordpress.org/about/
or: http://drupal.org/features

Actually, do I need to use a content management system for that? Instead, can't I create a form using PHP where the data can be accepted and then using file operations, create webpages? I was just wondering, if it is possible? Thank you ~ Ebbin Jose
