Custom Scrollbar

Postby viper94x » Tue Apr 17, 2012 12:46 am

Hi,

Me and a friend are building a site, and we will be using scrollbars within the page. The standard scrollbars just mess up our custom lay-out. So we wanted to make our own custom scrollbar, but no succes.
So we were wondering if somebody could help us make one. It has to load dynamic content and will be used in multiple 'modules'.
If possible it should basically replace the standard scrollbar.
You will of course be supplied with the graphics. Unfortunately we can't offer any money at this point. the only thing we can offer you is some experience. But maybe we can arrange something more, but I can't promise anything.
So if you wanna help us out, please reply to this message,pm me or send me a e-mail.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

Disable default browser scrolls and create some colorful stick instead of them.
And which would react to mouse-wheel/keyboard scroll, drag and selection.

Never done that but it doesn't sound too difficult.
Starter or a bit advanced JSer with lots of Googling should be able to make it.

Thanks for your reply, my friend is fairly experienced with JS, but he couldn't find any good internet tuts and the ones that are out there are not suited for dynamic content.
If you could post a link that would be great
