need to send auto response from form submission

Postby rhender » Tue Feb 21, 2012 8:41 am

I have a client who would like to send an immediate email response with a video, when a user submits his free quote form on his site.

He set up a Gmail account specifically for the auto response, with a link to a video that describes his business and services (it is already set up to auto respond to any email it receives).

If the email says it is from the email that was entered in the form (using $headers), shouldn't the Gmail account auto-response work just fine, and send the email??

I'm thinking that it should work just fine like that. But maybe there is a better way of accomplishing this task?

I want to keep it as simple as possible, since I am kind of a total novice with PHP and it totally freaks me out at this point. :)
