A Special PHP Angel Needed!!! We've got Problems- HELP!!!

Postby Kathleen » Fri Jan 24, 2003 11:27 am

Hi There-
Well I haven't been here for quite a long time, but
once again we are looking for a special angel to
help out our forum!

Every time someone tries to edit their posts the
system boggs down and either sends us to the
IE page stating that "this page cannot be displayed" etc.
or it takes forever to load. Then when we use the back
button we get duplicate posts if we try to re-post.
Everything seems very slow when we post on the larger
forums.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We have a large BB with about 6,500 topics on
board right now. A couple of the forums are very
large including one that has 3,200 topics, we have
close to 38,000 posts in total on the BB now, could
this be causing our glitch. Should we archive some of
the older posts on our larger forums? We have only
used half of our server megs to date, so we should
have enough. We don't know what to do!

Thank You So Very Much!!!

Please see the next post for more info on problems too-
