Issue with use over the internet

Postby shaferrj » Tue Nov 09, 2004 2:33 pm

Not sure if anyone has experienced this problem before or not. Im sure it is permissions I just dont know where. Possibly Apache? phpMyAdmin runs fine from the localhost machine. I can perform all the necessary functions. However, when I attempt to connect from a PC over the internet I am able to log on but cant access any info from there. Also none of the images/icons appear only the red X. The error below is what I get when I try to access database information.

db_details_structure.php: Missing parameter: db

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

try 2 things..
  1. DO NOT UPLOAD your config.inc.php from local host to the server, make your own on the new server.
  2. Still if the err. persists... make an new install of phpmyadmin... and a new config.

Everything is done on the server locally. The server is in my home. I reinstalled and am still having problems gaining access from remote machines. Any other suggestions?

It seems you've messed up with the config.php
please post the contents for that remote server.... from the file beginning from $array[$i] ++ something...
