phpMyAdmin not working in Firefox

Postby spunkymungbeans » Sun Jun 20, 2004 8:34 pm

I have been using phpMyAdmin for a couple of years, mostly using the IE browser. I recently made Firefox my default browser (and why wouldn't you?) but I can't use phpMyAdmin with it because when I make a selection in the left frame the page I want isn't loading in the right frame.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Wizard, follow this link.

spunkymungbeans, phpMyAdmin most definitely works with Firefox. Perhaps upgrade to a newer version of phpMyAdmin?

Thank you. I wouldn't have through v.2.5.3. was that old, but in any event upgrading to 2.5.7 fixed the frames problem in Firebox. Go figure.

Further update on Firefox. It wasn't the version. It seems that having the

$cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = '';

set to the URL and directory threw Firefox off. I removed the variable and turned the next variable off:

$cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri_DisableWarning'] = TRUE;

It now works perfectly.
