Am I on a Linux or Windows Server ?

Hi All,

Is there are easy way to tell if a site is hosted on a particular server?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am still very much a "young at heart" novice

I always thought that Apache was purely window's based, but after a bit of "Googling" I discovered that it can also run on Linux.

Some one told me that there was a PHP command i.e. Echo something-or-other that displayed all the config information, but for the life of me I can't find out what it is :-(

Can anyone help?
