mysql Database uploading

I am using FileZilla to upload PHP files and database. Where do i upload the database and what is the procedure. And what is the detailed procedure to upload. And is there any changes to be done in any files for database connection then please do mention.

Do you run PHPMyAdmin?

If so you don't need to upload the database files you can use PMA to import the data from your local computer. Just click on the Import Tab at the top of the screen and follow the prompts.

If on the other hand you are trying to get the data from your local computer to the web database in a scheduled manner with zero human intervention then you need to utilize batch files or shell scripts (depending on your operating system) to (s)ftp the files to your server and dump them into mysql.
