Process behind animation

Hi,

I want to make program like when I attache a file and while attaching a file one animation should be run.
In back end process code execute for attaching file.
I want same like yahoo.
In yahoo, when a file going to be attach, an animation executes and after attaching a file it displays a next page.

Can anybody help me?

I want this script in PHP 4.3.2 and MySql.

try doing it with Ajax
you can asyncroniously run an animation while something is being done in the BG..

If it's using the file upload features of HTML/PHP, the time you're waiting is actually the time it takes to send the file to the server. Just show an animated gif or flashmovie as soon as someone clicks on "submit". As soon as the file is sent, the next page is loaded. You can use DHTML to display the animation.
