Login system

Postby pungball » Tue Aug 17, 2004 3:25 am

Need a login script. See that you recommend some, but they both use PEAR or something.

I have PHP 4.3.4 installed at my host and MySQL...

any tips?

Well you could mean just about anything by "login script". But I'm gonna recommend that you start with PEAR::Auth.

Of course you can. Let me quote from the very page I linked to:
Currently it supports the following storage containers to read/write
the login data:
  • All databases supported by the PEAR database layer
  • All databases supported by the MDB database layer
  • All databases supported by the MDB2 database layer
  • Plaintext files
  • LDAP servers
  • POP3 servers
  • IMAP servers
  • vpopmail accounts
  • RADIUS
  • SAMBA password files
  • SOAP
