Creating a search function with links

Postby kevin123 » Wed May 09, 2012 1:33 pm

Hello, I'm creating a website and I'd like to add a search function.
Now, I've found a nice and simple script so that I don't have to type my code myself,
link: http://php.about.com/od/phpwithmysql/ss ... arch_3.htm.

Now, the problem is that it doesn't include links. With links I mean, the results returned by the page via the search function are links to more information. You can find this on most websites, when you search something via the search box, you click one of the results, you get more info (you go to the results page).

I don't have a clue how to do this, could someone give me some directions?

I'm not asking for code, I'm asking for directions/hints/suggestions/tips...

Thanks in advance!

So you have all of your content for your website indexed to a Database?
