I have to followind line to check if an ID has a reccord.

if(mysql_result($result,0,"id"))

if there is no record by that ID, i get a warning,,, how to a stop the display of this warning ??

Try adding a @ in front of your line like this...

@if(mysql_result($result,0,"id"))
