Installation and configuration iussues

I usinh Dreamweaver Mx i already install WAMP 5 and also installed Mysql. What should i do after i install mysql program? i want to test my database connection using IIS or any that you can recommend. I using Win 2000 as the OS. help me please to test the database connection

after mysql install..
install as service and start the service.

after install how to start the service? where? how about the server? do i need to set anything for the server?
