OPINION: Blogging software development

I have recently been developing a blogging software in PHP and MySQL.
I would like some constructive criticism about it.

(And if you're going to waste a reply to make a long ineloquent argument over how Tumblr or WordPress are infinitely better than anything I hope to create, then just don't reply at all. I'm doing this for a personal project, and if you don't want to help, so be it.)

Looks cool. Good effort.

One thing I noticed, when I only had one post, it still said that there were "No posts". Only after I added a 2nd post did the posts display.

Also, I think you need a demo. I initially thought that your WordPress Blog was the one you were developing!
