This is the first time I configured my own server, and email via PHP (in the past) has always been very fast, but now it seems to take a good 5-10 seconds for a mail script to run.

I don't like telling visitors to 'wait'.

Is there anyway I can speed up or configure my server so that my mail scripts run a lot faster. Perhaps someway of spooling?

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
