Apache vs Httpd

Postby patna_in » Fri Mar 11, 2005 12:59 am

Hi , in Windows I'm using IIS 5.0 but I'm little bit confused which WebServer I'm going to use in Linux. Though Apache & Httpd both r web server but by default httpd server installed when I install linux. When I download a new version of Apache and install I little bit confused how to use. Can any 1 plz explain which 1 I prefer and how 2 use. I'm going to use htaccess file in httpd. How I do it.
