how to actually know if apache is working??? i open the apache monitor, and it said "no services installed"...im very new to this whole php and apache n also mysql thing??? need help to get my assignment done!!!!!!

im using win XP home -mysql5.0 and php 4.3.4

go to programs > apache group> apache http server > start server
to check the services, go to control panel > admin tools > servies
check there if the services are running.
