Installation Problems (beginner)

i am new in PHP, i got window 2000 i having problem when follow some book to intall the php. Can u show me step by step to install it? I already download php5. I also having problem to look for the *.dll for php version. Thank for ur help

download phptriad and intstall it,
- it will setup every thing for you, including the configuration.
after installation run the apache and mysqld to test your environment.
and one thing more, download the php manual from http://www.php.net
