I had posted a long question before, and I didn't really get any help. I just thought i'd try to summerize it. If any one can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
I have installed MySQL 4.0.17 via RPM's from MySQL.com
I am trying to install PHP 4.3.4 from source. My problem is that im not sure what path to specify for the MySQL integration.
When I run the configure script with the --with-mysql argument
i get a message saying "You chose to compile PHP with the built-in MySQL support . . ."
According to the documentation @ mysql.com it says that rpm's are installed to /var/lib/mysql
I tried this and I get the same result.
Is there anywhere else I should point to in the config script?
Im running Redhat 9.
Thanks in advance.
