Instructions for upgrading Apache & PHP in Mandrake 9.0 ?

Hi, I am installing a new server using a Mandrake 9.0 Linux version.

Mandrake 9.0 comes with older versions of PHP and Apache, so I have downloaded the latest PHP 4.3.3 and Apache 2.0.47 versions.

Please, Is there any web page with step by step instructions on how to upgrade these two packages ???

Thank you very much in advance

Both packages contain ample documentation, and their respective web sites contain more. Finding it is not difficult.

I posted my message because I could not find any specific information within those sites, about upgrading existing Linux distribution's packages (Apache and PHP), to the newer ones.

I will appreciate if you can provide me a direct link to that information.

Thank you!

suggestion:
remove the old packages and install new one
I think documentation(README) comes with every package for it's installation and upgradtion. it will be there . :!:
