apache server is not started

apache server is not started

After installing the Xampp server..i click on the start button of apache..it is showing some error message in the window

8:37:37 PM [Apache] Error: Apache shutdown unexpectedly.

8:37:37 PM [Apache] improper privileges, a crash, or a shutdown by another method.

8:37:37 PM [Apache] the Windows Event Viewer for more clues
8:37:38 PM [Apache] If you need more help, copy and post this
8:37:38 PM [Apache] entire log window on the forums

Me be some missing files in Xampp server. So download new updated Xampp server and try again.

If you only install and try to start apache steps, you can try to check port 80( default). I think this port is used by other application or service as IIS, Skype...
