Upgrade PHP 5.1.6 (cli) to PHP 5.2

Postby Firas » Mon Jun 25, 2012 10:56 pm

Hi to all,

Am installing a2billing software, currently I want to upgrade PHP to PHP 5.2
unfortunately it didn't work,
I did the following configuration for the upgrade:

# nano /etc/yum.repos.d/centos-testing.repo
[c5-testing]
name=CentOS-5 Testing
baseurl=http://dev.centos.org/centos/$releasever/testing/$basearch/
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://dev.centos.org/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-testing
includepkgs=php*

# yum update

the current PHP version is:

PHP 5.1.6 (cli) (built: Feb 22 2012 19:34:21)
Copyright (c) 1997-2006 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.1.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006 Zend Technologies

I really appreciate your support about this so I can proceed with the installation.
