Forum for you who has PHP installation issues

When I go to process my scripts from my pc (not uploaded and live) all I get is the code I wrote in the internet window. from <php to ?> it displays it all with now errors or anything. No processing time, just displays it.
I was wondering if someone could help me start troubleshooting this problem?
