I am new to this forum, so a good morning to all of you...
I have just installed Fedora 9 , (currently I don't have the DVD of Fedora 13 ) ,I have successfully started /etc/init.d/httpd & /etc/init.d/mysql .Then I have loaded my Browser(Mozilla) with http://localhost.
The starting page of the apache web server was there , upto this everything went fine.
Then I have written <?php phpinfo(); ?>in test.php into /var/www/html & loaded my browser with http://localhost/test.php but there is no display. Its a blank page.
Then surprisingly I turned on my internet connection & done the same now there is the the desired display of php configuration page.
Is it necessary to have an active internet connection all the time when working with php & apache ?
or I can do that without an internet connection also ?
I will be really very thankful if anybody please can help.......
Regards M.C
