Hi am new in PHP and am trying to connect it with the oracle database.
Am using the following code:

$conn = oci_connect('username', 'password', 'host');
if (!$conn) {
$e = oci_error();
trigger_error(htmlentities($e['message'], ENT_QUOTES), E_USER_ERROR);

And i keep getting the following error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined function oci_connect()

I have tried everything that is recommended online like creating the instant client or enabling the oci_8 library and still nothing works

Can someone please please help me ?

It sounds like the oci extention is not enabled. See
