Pixel Question

Postby macanet » Thu Jan 12, 2006 3:01 am

Hi All - I would like to try something but don't know where to start.

I want a 10,000 x 10,000 pixel square on my web page -

I then want a "mouse-over" so what ever pixel the mouse pointer is over a pixel with in that square then a comment comes up with what number the pixel is - pixel 3567 pixel 56790 and so on -

you get the idea.

Any help on this ? - It's just an experiment

Ian

i guess its like milliondollarhomepage.com
hehe, well its javascript and you will simply need to make that area as a div and look for the coordinates on mouse over event..
you will need to have basic understanding of how javascript will be able to do it and even check for a Jscript that willb e able to show such a tooltip.

well... thats possible as well.. but you will need tons of image maps as you want them to be pixel for pixel...
that seems pretty bad to have...
