in JS , tell me how to do check input valid file box (input='file')

in PHP , i use ini_set("upload_max_filesize") then i need restart webserver ? :yawn:

ehh? JS can check the filename: yes (simple value attribute): getElementById('Id_of_element').value

in oho ini_set does not require restrating

hi

in the second question , i just used ini_set("upload_max_filesize","8M") then echo ini_get("upload_max_filesize") and run it with Zend Studio . If i don't restart webserver , i will have the result is 8M , but the result is 2M.

Is the "upload_max_filesize" constant ?

when you use ini_set -- its value is used ONLY while the script is running, and only for that script
