Capturing Java and Converting to PHP

Postby Harlequin » Thu Oct 21, 2004 2:01 pm

Morning all.

I've managed to create some script through begging, borrowing and a little manipulation that captures browser data such as screen resolution and screen depth and cookies enabled etc and can post these using a form with hidden fields. But what I need to do is this:

Instead of the form having a button, I just want it to be a regular hypelink and that way I can embed this code in a normal web page and when the user clicks to view another page I capture the data.

I know this is easily donw but I'm beat as I've been at this for hours now and if it would be of any use to you guys I'll be making the whole script available with a list of the variables it captures.

<a href="link_to_page.php" onClick="my_function()">Bla Bla</a>
that way you can call yout script... you should replace my_function() with the actual name..
