Refreshing with Javascript

Postby Duggary » Wed Dec 17, 2003 10:30 am

I'm using Javascript to provide users with a button on a webpage that allows them to refresh a page when they wish.

However, this webpage also has a form that calls itself and if the "Refresh" button is clicked after the form has been submitted an alert appears saying something like "The page cannot be refreshed without submitting the contents of the form. Click Retry to resend the information or cancel to return to the original page".

Is there any way that I can stop this message from being displayed and just act as if the user has clicked the "Retry" button?

Thanks for any help in advance,
C

This is what happens when a page has been generated as the result of a form with method="POST". There's no way to avoid it except change said form to GET.
