drop down list width

Postby ChrisSkidmore » Mon Jan 06, 2003 3:17 pm

Can I control the display width of a drop down.

Some of the options are quite wide so I'd like it to work logically. About 150 pixels closed but when open display to the width of the options.

Am I asking too much??

I think I'd already come to that conclusion before posting but was still hopeful.

Many thanks anyway

Actually you can do it, but using css:
Code: Select all
<select style="WIDTH: 300px;"> bla bla</select>
