Bilingual site switch allowing toggle between 2 directories

Hello!

Could any one tell me how I may allow my visitor to switch (toggle) between English and French directories on my web site? I have 2 different directories and both set of pages translated respectively and they are always named identical:

adael.net/page1.htm (french site)
adael.net/en/page1.htm (English)

it's as easy as keeping the info on sessions.
if ENGLISH is on session, just put the /en/ on the URL's...
