==============================================
Every once in a while I get a blue screen of death that reads:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer.
if this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:
Check to be sure you have adaquate disk space. If a driver is
identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check
with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video
adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable
BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If y0u need
to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your
computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and then
select safe mode.
Technical Information:
*** STOP: O*0000007E (O*FFFFFFFFC0000005.0*FFFFFA6003A72700.0*FFFFFA60017E07A8.0

In case you are wondering how I was able to read and copy this information, well,
the answer is I could not. This information flashed on the screen faster than
a speed reader could read. It was only after several unsuccessful attempts at
grabbing a digital camera, turning off the automatic flash, and taking a snapshot
was I able to get a record of this information.
Then I uploaded the image and did some image processing to remove the blur and
the glare to a point where I could read what I thought was displayed.
First of all, I have checked and I have more than adaquate disk space. Almost one
third of the hard drive is free.
Has anyone had any experience with such an error and can offer any advice?
The computer crashes at random times. Sometimes right away and sometimes the
computer stays alive all day. All this started about two weeks ago.
