Apache/Win Help

Postby liquedus » Thu Dec 04, 2003 9:39 am

Hi Guys,

I'm not a big admin kind of person so I will look for some help on here...

System:

WinXP Home Edition (yeah i know i should go Pro)
Apache

and a router with 2 machines....

The Problem... When I try to connect from the 2nd machine to my dev server, for example 192.168.2.2 I get the index page, but when I type in 192.168.2.2/secondDev/ I get a page cannot be found, any ideas ?

Hi,
Please open your httpd.conf file and search for the virtualhost configuration...

please search for DocumentRoot here it is set where are all your documents are to be placed..

if the directory you are trying to browse is not in the DocumentRoot folder then you will get the 404 page not found
