Forum advice

Postby tryton » Thu Oct 16, 2003 6:40 am

Hello everyone. PHP-forum is the main forum I respond to and use since I code heavy using php and mysql for my websites. So I thought I'd ask my question here.

I've started a new forum for AS400 programmers and developers and my question is, how do I broadcast to the general audience and get new users??

Here is what I've done so far:
1. Submitted the url to the search engines including Google
2. Have checked for other as400 forums, but that's why I started one because they are pretty much nonexistent, but the ones that I have found, I have been leaving messages and responding to other users leaving the url in my sig.
3. Emailed other as400 programmers I know about the website.

It just went live yesterday after some testing and modifications. If anyone has any advice I'd greatly appreciate it. The website in my sig is not the website I'm refering to.
