This should really be moved to the free hosting forum, I think.

Anyway, .tk seems pretty popular. Though the glaring grammatical error on their front page ("Tokelau gives away it's domain names!") is quite awful.

That sentence can be argued as grammatically correct as Tokelau is both a Proper Noun and debatably living, thus the it becomes a possessional reference of a living Proper Noun - the domain names belong to it, they are it's domain names.

Similar to saying swirlee's last post, the apostrophe indicates possession.

Actually finding a proper scientific definition of exactly when to use the apostophe to denote possession is not easy though.

Actually, the possessive "its" never has an apostrophe. Ever. Just another quirk of the English language. You only use an apostrophe if you're contracting "it is". *sigh* Let's all speak Esperanto.

An apostrophe is always used for possession.

e.g - Simon's not Simons, as Simons means more than one Simon. And we don't want that, do we?
