ok, i have another computer that came 'pre-installed' with a load of crap.
there is specifically one piece of software I cannot get rid of... software by Address.com. I have used their uninstall utility, but the crap remains, and I cannot seem to be able to locate it myself inside the system folders/files.
This piece of crapware is really annoying since it seems to manage to capture outgoing url requests and redirects them to their own site saying my url is invalid, blah blah.
Other than re-formatting the HD (which I am close to doing) does anyone have any suggestions (ad-aware has tried and failed). Its a Win98SE system.
Any help would be appreciated. :evil:
