The 80KB image is a tad excessive. That alone makes the page take forever to load for most people. It doesn't need to be that big.

its nice, but need to speed the sucker up.... like make it load within 5-7 seconds on a 56K

Yeah, what he said... and an easy way to do it would be to optimize those images. If you don't have Photoshop/ImageReady or Fireworks or anything like that, there are plenty of free tools that can optimize your pre-existing GIFs (since whatever app created those GIFs obviously can't). Try searching Google for GIF optimation tools.
