I am hosting my sites with dreamhost.

They have a section in their control panel to create user groups.

What I want to do is give access to 2 people to update one of the sites on my plan.

I have created the group, but only one of the users in the group can upload/delete files. That user owns the directory. The other user can access the directory/sub-dir but cannot upload/delete anything.

I know that I have to chmod, and chown some stuff, but I don't really know what I'm doing.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

chmod - change the permissions mode of a file:
chown - change file ownership:
Maby you create user but forget include in group
"Sex,Drugs and Rock&Roll " replaced at "Sucks,Bugs and Plug&Play";

Can this be done using cPanel? I was wondering if this is an option. Image
