monitoring server on real time

Postby Joan Garnet » Thu Nov 21, 2002 4:24 am

Hello,
I've got a problem with my server, and I would like to monitor the current state ("totally busy" or "still with resources") or if possible the total free amount of bandwidth flow in a given moment.

I don't know if I made myself clear....
An example here -->
http://www.matematicas.net/php/download ... zip&kb=356

It uses something to check if the three servers are online or not when the page is already charged. It's like a "tiny - statistics monitor" (weird thing, huh?... )
But... is it possible with php??? ......php is a server side language, not a browser interpreted language...
I'm confused :?
I'd appreciate your point of view
:)
