Can anyone get hold of a list of regular expressions that would transform MS Word HTML into normal, garden variety HTML

Try Dreamweaver MX... It has a "Clean Up Word HTML" feature. Coolest product on the market.

Yeh dreamweaver is good, but i rilly need the actual regular expressions, or at least some documentation on all the different ways word bastardises html so i can write them myself. It's for an app i'm making.
